Independent 3D sand print centre success
Since launching Europe's first independent 3D sand print centre in 2014, Netherlands-based 3Dealise printed 115,000 litres in its first six months of operation. 3D printing of sand moulds provides freedom of design, because such traditional design constraints as draft angles no longer apply. According to the company, a world of possibilities is unlocked in this way, with the designer's power of imagination representing the next frontier.
